Hey! We are Ben and April and it is nice to have you here!

The Crafty Moustache started with Ben’s love of making games. He’d been creating them for years, and when we got our first laser in 2025, we realised we could take things even further and make ideas that had been sitting in our heads finally possible.

We’re both involved in product development, so a lot of what we make starts with a conversation that usually sounds something like, “What if we tried this?” We love coming up with new ideas, experimenting, refining them and seeing how far we can push what we have.

In 2026, we were able to upgrade our laser, opening up even more possibilities for what we can design and create. We’re constantly learning, trying new things and finding new ways to turn ideas into something real.

Our style is a mix of modern design and old fashioned thoughtfulness. We love clean, contemporary pieces, but we also love the feeling that came with things made in the past, where someone had taken the time to make something properly and with intention. We want our products to have a bit of both.

Thoughtful gifts really matter to us. We love seeing our pieces make people smile, become part of their homes and bring a little bit of joy to someone's day. That’s the part of this business that makes all the late nights, failed prototypes and occasional disagreements over an idea worth it.

And ultimately, we’re building The Crafty Moustache for something bigger too: a bit more freedom, a better work life balance and a life where we can spend more time doing creative work we actually love, while building something our family can be proud of.

We’re excited to see where it takes us.
